Since the start of her financial services career in 1994, Pam has been helping individuals and small business owners accumulate and preserve wealth. Pam graduated from The University of Central Florida in 1989 with a BA in Business. She started in the hospitality industry right out of college, but gravitated to finance when she moved to Asheville, NC. She spent the next 15 years of her career at A.G. Edwards before founding her own practice, Pursuit Wealth Strategies, in 2009 and forming a relationship with Raymond James. Pam has been a member of the Raymond James Leader’s Council* since 2015, which is made up of the firm’s most successful advisors. She was also named to Working Mother’s 2019 list of the Top Wealth Advisor Moms and was named to Forbes 2020 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors. Pam is #60 for Best-In-State and #372 in Women Wealth Advisor’s top 1000.**

For her individual clients, Pam’s goal is to get them from one chapter of their financial lives to another by helping them plan for both their short-term needs and long-term goals. She has a distinctive style of finding suitable investments, using both passive and active strategies, and making sure the strategies used will help get through tough and changing markets. Pam is dedicated to the financial wellbeing of those she works with and takes an invested approach in their lives to make sure they are checking all the right boxes when it comes to finances.

Small business owners need extra guidance when it comes to creating their own retirement plans. They often face issues of succession to family members or other individuals while needing income of their own. Since each business is unique, Pam enjoys designing solutions for each individual owner, seeking to take full advantage of the tax benefits and other complex strategies.

When Pam is not hard at work, she is a wife to Howard and mom to Kylie and Clay. She is an avid tennis player, enjoys cooking, gardening and all things sports. You can also find her cheering on her favorite teams; UCF and NC State or visiting her daughter and son at UNCW. Besides her family, Pam’s greatest joy is her love of church and giving back to others whenever she can. She loves to support charities and has participated in summer mission trips with her family. Pam current focus is her service of aiding the homeless.

Pam is a General Securities Sales Supervisor and is licensed in Life, Health, Disability and Long -Term Care insurance, as well as most recently achieving her Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation. In 2004, she became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional.

Kelsey has been helping clients plan for their future since 2011. She started her career as an intern at Pursuit Wealth Strategies and became a partner of the practice in 2014.

After graduating magna cum laude from Furman University, Kelsey knew almost immediately that being a financial advisor was what she wanted to do. Serving her clients with care and integrity are her main priorities. What excites her the most is being able to make a difference in someone’s life and helping them achieve their goals when they though it wasn’t possible. She is committed to listening to what matters most in people’s lives and learning what values and goals they hold dear. She has a talent for building portfolios and figuring out what is right for the client. Strategizing and problem solving are only a few of her strengths.

Kelsey obtained her AAMS®, ACCREDITED ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTTM certification in 2012 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional in 2014. Kelsey is also licensed in Life, Health, Disability and Long-Term Care Insurance.

When Kelsey is not hard at work her two young children, Jonah and Leah, keep her and husband, Jared, very busy. Having grown up in Raleigh has given Kelsey the opportunity to stay connected with her community. She and her family actively volunteer with their church, Providence. She also enjoys staying connected and supporting her high school alma mater, Trinity Academy of Raleigh.

Jen has more than 24 years of experience in the financial business and has been by Pam’s side for more than 19 of those years. Jen exhibits a flair for going above and beyond and being proactive when it comes to working with our clients.

As a registered associate, Jen specializes in all aspects of client account administration and office management. Her goal is to ensure that our clients receive the most timely and effective response to all their requests. If you have a question about money movement, statements, roll-overs, or any type of paperwork Jen will know how to help you.

In 2017, Jennifer won the Outstanding Branch Professional of the Year Award for Raymond James Financial Services. *

In her spare time, Jen loves gardening or spending time in the mountains with her family.

WENDY BROOKER

After 25 years of raising her daughter Lauren, Wendy rejoined the financial industry and joined our team in March of 2020. She brings a wealth of knowledge from the banking industry. Wendy was a Branch Manager and Lender for Key Bank in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She managed operations as well as providing customer service and lending for her clients. Her focus was relationship building with a large client base in Ann Arbor.

Wendy has been named, “Ambassador of First Impressions” for the office. She is eager to meet and assist all of our clients at Raymond James.

Wendy is from the Midwest, born in Ohio and moved to North Carolina in 1994. She has a beautiful daughter, Lauren, and son in law, Eric, that reside in Asheville, North Carolina where she visits often. Wendy is a former marathon runner. She now spends her time playing tennis and is an avid walker/hiker. She is a huge football fan and never misses a Dallas Cowboys game in the Fall.

Wendy is a young widow and loves to bring awareness to brain cancer since the loss of her husband four years ago. Pursuit Wealth Strategies was instrumental in guiding her through  the process of loss and her financial strategies moving forward.

Stacey joined the Raymond James Team In 2019 with much enthusiasm for working in the Financial Planning industry. She is a huge people-person and spent several years in the banking industry. An alumnus of the University of Phoenix, Stacey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She is a knowledgeable and a client-oriented asset to our team. Stacey’s communication and organizational skills allow her to be proficient in assisting clients with updates and to effectively assist advisors with establishing new accounts.

A native of Florida, she relocated to Raleigh to jump start her new career and enjoy all that North Carolina has to offer.

When not working, Stacey enjoys decorating her new home, exploring Raleigh, hiking and spending time with friends. Stacey is an avid volunteer in the community and is always seeking ways to assist those less fortunate.
