KELSEY D. PLUMMER, CFP®, AAMS®
Partner, PWS | Financial Advisor, RJFS
I started with Pursuit Wealth Strategies in 2011 and became a partner of the practice in 2014. After graduating magna cum laude from Furman University in Greenville, SC, I returned home to Raleigh and found my calling in financial planning, specifically with the team at Pursuit Wealth Strategies. Pam’s integrity and care for her clients drew me to the industry and this team.
I feel fortunate to have grown up in a family that valued hard work and modeled good financial habits. My path into financial planning stemmed from a desire to pass those habits on and help clients grow and maintain their hard-earned money. Being married to an entrepreneur also gives me a unique perspective on the challenges and benefits they face. What excites me the most is being able to make a difference in someone’s life and help them achieve their goals when they thought it wasn’t possible. I am committed to listening to what matters most in people’s lives and learning what values and goals they hold dear.
I obtained my AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist™) certification in 2012 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2014. I am also licensed in Life, Health, Disability, and Long-Term Care Insurance.
When I’m not hard at work, my two young children, Jonah and Leah, keep my husband, Jared, and me very busy. Having grown up in Raleigh has given me the opportunity to stay connected with my community. My family and I actively volunteer with our church, Providence, and I also enjoy staying connected and supporting my high school alma mater, Trinity Academy of Raleigh.
